Plumb Works owner, Jerome Sabol, made a return appearance to WSB’s radio show “Lenz on Business” with guest host Belinda Skelton to share seasonal maintenance tips. Throughout the March 24 episode, he discussed water filters, sewer flooding risks, commercial plumbing, and much more.
With spring’s arrival bringing stormy weather, ensuring all plumbing is in top condition becomes vital in preventing potential issues. Jerome stressed the importance of spring maintenance check-ups, noting the distinct steps taken to prepare homes for winter and spring.
He also offered advice on proper garbage disposal usage, cautioning against disposing of foods with slimy peelings, and advising against overloading the disposal. Jerome also recommended simple methods for cleaning garbage disposals, such as using ice or running hot water.
Additionally, he spoke on technological advancements that help in leak detection. He also urged listeners to know the location of one's water shut-off valve in case of a flood. Later, Jerome informed listeners about upcoming plumbing expos in the spring and apprenticeship opportunities with Plumb Works.
To close the show, Jerome provided additional advice on how to avoid clogs and guided listeners to the Plumb Works Academy website, which showcases simple methods for repairing everyday plumbing issues.
