Jerome Sabol, Owner of Plumb Works, Returns to WSB's "Lenz on Business" Radio Show to Discuss Business in the Plumbing Industry

Jerome Sabol, owner of Plumb Works, recently joined host Jon Waterhouse on WSB's radio show, "Lenz on Business", to share his expertise. Throughout the January 22 episode, Sabol discussed the evolution of the company, strategies implemented to make the company stronger, Plumb Works’ philanthropic work, and more.
Despite having had no prior business experience, Sabol runs a thriving plumbing company. Over the years, Plumb Works has become established as one of the most successful plumbing companies in Atlanta. Sabol shared the struggles he faced during the company’s early days and the resources he has used and continues to use to grow his business.
Sabol discussed the current economic climate and labor shortage, and how both are affecting his business. He shared techniques he uses to face those challenges, from consulting a business advisor to offering an apprenticeship program to new employees.
One of Plumb Works' objectives is to contribute to the community. Having grown up in a small town, Sabol recognizes the connection community service fosters with customers. Sabol shared several active initiatives, such as the company’s involvement with and sponsorship of the Amplify Decatur Music Festival, an annual, charity-driven event that raises money to help alleviate homelessness and poverty on the local level.
Additionally, Sabol spoke about a variety of topics including the recent cold front that caused pipes to freeze, how to navigate a sudden influx of customers with limited staff support, and how those interested in a plumbing career can become part of the Plumb Works team.
