Plumb Works Owner Jerome Sabol to Appear on WSB Radio’s “Lenz on Business”

On August 22nd , Plumb Works’ owner Jerome Sabol made a guest appearance on WSB Radio’s “Lenz on Business” and shared key insights from his years managing the company.

As a local, family-owned and operated plumbing company working in the Atlanta area, Jerome discussed a number of things he’s learned in Plumb Works’ 30+ years serving clients’ plumbing needs. “Lenz on Business” host, Jon Waterhouse, asked questions about the importance of customer service and reliability, Plumb Works’ thorough training policies, how to acquire business savvy through professional resources, and navigating growth amid a pandemic.

“I don’t want to be cliché, but we try to treat customers as we want to be treated. So that means from when they call we’re answering all their questions, being efficient, booking their call correctly, getting there on time, and following up with them. Everything from A to Z. So that way they’re just not sitting there wondering what’s going on. It’s all the communication in between that helps them feel like ‘hey, I’m being taken care of.’ It’s easy to say, it’s hard to do. We try our best, and it’s something we strive to do every day,” says Jerome.

Listen to the show to learn about Jerome’s dedication to ensuring Plumb Works reputation as a leader in quality service and industry expertise.

“Lenz on Business” is presented by Georgia College’s J. Whitney Bunting College of Business. Tune in live on Saturday nights at 6 p.m. on News 95.5, AM 750 WSB, and WSBRadio.com.

Nothing puts the cold chill on the festive holiday season like a frozen or burst pipe. Frozen pipes are bad enough, but when they burst, the problem worsens and can easily lead to flood damage requiring costly repairs. This all-too-common occurrence affects an estimated 250,000 homes in America each year. And Georgia may be a hot bed for frozen pipes. According to a State Farm report released in 2023, Georgia topped the list of frozen pipe-related losses at $100 million (from August 2002-August 2023.) Plumb Works remains your go-to source for frozen or burst pipe calls in our service area. However, there are some simple tips you can apply to protect pipes in cold weather and help avoid a house call. Before the thermometer dips below freezing – that’s 32 degrees Fahrenheit – do the following:
